Photography is a way of feeling, of touching, of loving. What you have caught on film is captured forever... it remembers little things, long after you have forgotten everything. -Aaron Siskind
My name is Marina and yes...I am Russian.
Born in the former Soviet Union, I spent most of my childhood behind the iron curtain. Currently, I live in the suburbs outside of Boston and travel all over New England.
I first became passionate about photography when I was very young. It gave me the opportunity to see the world in a unique way. Even the most ordinary things on this earth became spectacular with the camera in my hands. I remember the first time I was able to take a sharp image of a seagull with its wings spread wide over a sandy beach. The excitement I had was an adrenalin rush.
My love and fascination of photography stayed with me all throughout high school and university. Despite majoring in Economics, I never lost my passion for photography and turned it into a profession after becoming a mother. I love being able to tell stories through the photographs I take, helping others preserve their memories for many years, capturing precious moments between parents and their children, between siblings and loved ones.
I specialize in children and family photography. I enjoy meeting new people, getting to know their stories and capturing their unique personalities.
